Betsy, with her husband, Dennis, and her sons, Iain and Eric.Dennis, an architectural historian, is Vice-Chair of Brookline's Preservation Commission and a Commissioner of the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
Iain (center) and Eric (right) both went to Brookline's schools starting with BEEP, then Lincoln and the High School. Both were in SWS. Iain was on the wresting and rugby teams. Eric was on the sailing team and was a theater"techie." From sixth grade on, Eric was that kid who could always solve the teachers' computer problems.
Eric is working on a Ph.D. at NYU in Neuroeconomics. Iain has done fMRI brain scanning research relating to schizophrenia and dyslexia at MGH and Georgetown University. He is currently working on an M.Sc. in medical statistics at the University of London before continuing towards his Ph.D.
Betsy and Dennis have no idea where all that came from. However, Eric and Iain both took the "Mind-Body" course at the High School.
